Cute small monster

The Little dragonfish or Short dragonfish is often found in the sand or silt bottoms shallow water from the central mainland to the south. They are under 10cm long. The scene that spreads the fins like wings and crawls on the seabed is more suitable for another name “Sea moth”. In Japan, it is called “Umi Tengu” because it resembles the figure of a genie “Tengu” whose long nose is characteristic. Umi means the sea. Osezaki, Izu peninsula, Japan. -10m.
